Will my donation be tax-deductible?
BBEA is a Pending US federally-recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization . US donors will be able to take tax deductions for donations to BBEA to the extent permitted by law. More information on the tax-deductibility of donations to BBEA.
Our top recommendation is our local community package, which is allocated to any grant that meets our cost-effectiveness bar. It allows donors to contribute to the most impactful grant opportunities we’ve identified, regardless of program or location. Supporting the All Grants Fund is an especially good fit for donors who have a high level of trust in BBEA and are open to some calculated risk, but also want their donation to support programs (as opposed toBBEA operations).

One-time donations: To make a one-time donation via PayPal, simply complete the donation form and choose “PayPal” as your payment method during checkout. You will be prompted to sign in to your PayPal account to complete the transaction.
Recurring donations: To make a recurring donation via PayPal, simply complete the donation form and choose “monthly” frequency and “PayPal” as your payment method during checkout. You will be prompted to sign in to your PayPal account to complete the transaction.
If you have a recurring donation via PayPal that you set up prior to November 1, 2022, we recommend that you cancel it and create a new donation via our new donation form. BBEA is unable to cancel or modify recurring PayPal donations made on our legacy system. You can find instructions on how to cancel your PayPal donation here.
Please note that donations to BBEA are irrevocable in most cases, and donor requests to grant donations to our recommended charities are subject to our approval (more details on BBEA approval process here).
